Victoria Beckham: Spring/Summer 21 Collection

Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer 21 digital fashion show was hosted at North London’s Victoria Miro art gallery. The new collection is “a dream inspired by reality,” dedicated to the new VB woman who is modern, forward-looking, and always dreaming.

the VB Spring/Summer 21 is a small collection with 20 looks, a relaxed fluidity to the strong tailoring and sharp colour that defines the brand.

“I found the whole thing liberating. Everything changed this season and it reminds me why I fell in love with the industry in the first place, all those years ago when I used to do smaller presentations and narrate through them, We weren’t in a position to have 10 fashion stories and narrow it down to one or two. We had to be very focused and strategic. I’ve really enjoyed coming to work. So much. That sense of freedom is what my business needs right now.” Victoria Beckham

what women will want to wear on the other side?

“Limitations can be liberating. Working remotely, for this collection we reacted spontaneously. We were instinctive. We asked ourselves what has changed? Who do we want to be? What will we desire?”

Victoria Beckham celebrates freedom throughout her collection and encouraging everyone to be themselves by dressing in any way they want.

the result was an overdose of freedom and bold design with the elegant signature of Victoria Beckham. A natty ’70s tailoring with a mannish twist, super long trousers that call for a very high heel, parachute maxi dresses with lace inserts, vintage-wash denim, candy apple-coloured coats and a touch of midriff-flossing.

Victoria Beckham: Focus Design

Victoria Beckham mixed fashion trends like drawstring dresses and patchwork denim with sensual details like animal print and lace. The designs boast a vast color palette between the neutral colors tones as a base and bold hues like green and purple.

Relaxed ‘fits dominate the collection, including flare pants like the super-flared apple green trousers split at the back “puddling on the floor”, ’70s-inspired aesthetic. Also, the flowing dress silhouettes include the Floor-length jersey dresses caressed the body, where the waists of maxidresses loosened and allowed them to drop, and featured with cutout details and intricately wrapped shoulder straps.

Other key looks included a beautiful leopard-print jacket, a purple evening dress with black lace details.

the high heels are very present in this collection, the chunky gold necklace with a massive gold ring pendant that featured on most of the looks.

The makeup was very soft and healthy and the models look very natural from Victoria Beckham Beauty
